PSYCH-K® creates a whole brain state where the left and right hemispheres of the brain communicate effectively.

The left hemisphere is logical, rational, thinks in words, analyzes, is orderly, and controls. The archetype is the engineer.

The right hemisphere uses emotions and intuition, thinks in images, synthesizes, and is spontaneous and free. The archetype is the artist.

Although we have the natural ability to function simultaneously with both hemispheres of the brain, life experiences often trigger a dominance of one side over the other when responding to specific situations.

The more emotionally charged an experience (usually traumatic), the more likely it is that the conclusion we draw from it will be stored for future reference. Thus, we are more likely to automatically and excessively identify with only one hemisphere of the brain when faced with similar experiences in the future. This doesn't mean that our entire personality is identifiable with one hemisphere or the other, but simply that, based on our life experiences, perceptions, beliefs, and trainings, we may have an automatic preference for identifying one hemisphere or the other in similar situations.

Through the PSYCH-K® process, the goal is to increase "communication" between the two hemispheres of the brain, in order to achieve a whole brain state, which is ideal for transforming stress and modifying subconscious beliefs.

When the right and left hemispheres communicate simultaneously, the qualities and characteristics of both hemispheres are accessible to maximize our full response potential to life's challenges.
